Most states require restaurants and food service establishments to have a certified food manager on staff. To become a Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM), you can take our online preparation course and then take a proctored exam. Our Certified Food Manager course has been written to the FDA food code and will help you study and prepare for any of the three ANSI/CFP approved CPFM exams.

Course features include video, audio, animations, flash cards and quizzes to help you learn and review. Our interactive course is rated at 8 hours. It is also self-paced, so it may take more or less time based on your knowledge of the material.

Once you have completed the course, you will receive information about where you can take an ANSI/CFP approved exam from a national organization. The exam fees are not included in the cost of our course.

If you are currently a CPFM and only need your re-certification, some states now allow you to complete an on-line course to renew your certificate for another 3 to 5 years. Click here for more information.
